How long does it take for a typical kitchen or bath remodel?
It all depends… Kitchens can take 4-6 weeks from start to finish, bathrooms can take 2-5 weeks. When we provide a proposal on a project we are able to estimate the time based on the scope of the project. We want to complete your project in a timely manner so that we are able to move to the next project. The “lead carpenter” assigned to the project will not begin another project until your project is completed, unless we are waiting on materials that have been on back order or materials damaged due to shipment.
What is the average cost of a kitchen?
It all depends… We find in our area (Mission, Prairie Village, Leawood and Overland Park Kansas) we have completed total kitchen remodels for as little as $18,000 and as much as $120,000. If we were to give you an average for our area it would be around $35,000. Factors that weigh on the cost include size, design and material selections. What we do better than anyone is help you stay within your budget and we try to give you the biggest bang for the buck. We help with advice in material selections depending on whether you plan to move in 3-4 years or you are planning to retire and remain in your home of 25 plus years. This is what we do best, helping you manage your budget.
What is a the average cost of a bath remodel?
It all depends… We find in our area (Mission, Prairie Village, Leawood and Overland Park Kansas) we have completed total bathroom remodels for as little of $8,000 and as much as $45,000. If we were to give you an average for our area it would be around $18,000. It all depends on size, design and material selections. Like with our kitchen remodels, what we do better than anyone is helping you stay within your budget and get you the biggest bang for the buck.
Is a project too small?
We don't want you to think a job is to small! We will be glad to visit you over the phone or make an appointment to discuss a simple shower repair or replacement due to age, a kitchen counter top replacement for a quick update, or a tile flooring project. If we can't handle the project ourselves we gladly refer you to another reputable contractor. Don't hesitate to call.

This team effort provides a safe environment for your family during the construction project. No one enters your home without our knowledge and approval. We have relationships with all of our sub-contractors so, these aren't random workers entering your home; they are people we know and use on many projects.
We have an experienced in house designer that will meet with clients and discuss the updating and design alternatives of their kitchen or bath project. Assisting them with material selections as well as provide design services. We assist our clients in the selections of kitchen cabinetry, bath vanities, granite and other materials for counter tops as well as tile and wood for flooring. She also keeps our clients aware of the cost of materials during the design and selection process. We never want surprises at the end of the project. Our in-house designer makes sure all the materials are ordered and delivered to the job site on time.
Our carpenters are "employees", which is very important. Each project is assigned to a "lead carpenter". The only sub-contractors we use, when required by the cities are licensed electricians and plumbers. Otherwise the "lead carpenter" is completely capable to complete the necessary task without the use of subs. Our sub-contractors are individuals that we have maintained a relationship with for a number of years and we required that they also provide insurance, workman's compensation & liability insurance.
A few comments from Customers.
"This was the most positive remodeling experience! In the past we've felt 'taken hostage' by workers who didn't show up or extended project time. Not so with your company. Wonderful job & we are extremely pleased. I really appreciated how clean they left the work site every day.”
"Thank you for your services. It's a pleasure to work with someone who 'delivers what he promises'. We particularly wish to thank your craftsman. His attention to detail and skills at his various tasks resulted in a wonderful finished product. We would highly recommend him and your company.”
"Your craftsman was so wonderful to cover all of the furniture with plastic and put plastic over the bathroom door to prevent the dust from causing Tina's asthma to flare up. He went above and beyond what was requested and always kept us informed of what he was doing that day and what to expect the next day too. You were the 1st contractor we've ever felt safe enough with to leave in the house alone! The shower stall looks great!"
